With the new module K4 Drop Folders Advanced the import of articles, for example from a Web CMS, is considerably simplified and accelerated.
Nowadays, there exists a broad range of consumed content on various channels which is constantly growing. The spectrum ranges from classic website content, newsletters, social media, blogs up to (live-)videos. Thus, in the age of digitalization the consumption of content using different channels is frequently changing. The search for content itself, has remained more or less constant for a while.
RG Verlag (RG publishing house), a company of the retail- and tourism group REWE, pursues a considerable growth course for a couple of years. As a result, the number of publications as well as staff have risen noticeably. In addition, integration of relevant sub-processes such as image processing and advanced digitalization levels of publications lead to the fact that manual handling is no longer an option.
Looking back over 2017 and ahead to 2018, Carsten spoke to vjoon CEO Andreas Schrader about market trends, vjoon's response, and what customers can expect to see next year.
C: Andreas, it's December, traditionally a time for retrospectives. Looking back at 2017, what kept you busy this past year?

As of today the convenient plug-ins vjoon Overset Manager and vjoon Notes Manager are available for the newest InDesign and InCopy version CC 2018. Both products support editors and content writers in many ways to collaborate more efficiently with their teams.
Mobile publishing is changing so fast, it’s a challenge for publishers to keep up. Holger Kraemer of vjoon and Twixl’s Laurent Gerniers, both experts in mobile strategies, look at some of the key decisions publishers need to make.
